Lotus is with Toyota engines. Lotus outsources its central and invest heavily in the rule in chassis design and dynamics, rather than manufacturing its own engines.
And everyone wondered if they are too expensive, has apparently gone never will be. I attended a seminar last year running and our pace car was a Lotus Exige. In the hands of our teachers was excellent and the car is the 1000 cc engine was smaller than the cars drove off.
I love this car. Can beat a Corvette in a straight road, no problem, but the Exige is the Corvette. When you faster than you can use to buy a Corvette. You will be happy with him. If you want to buy the most fun you have with your clothes, the Exige.

Lotus is the best car in your opinion. The best performance is undoubtedly necessary. I know that Elise and Exige are manufactured the engines from Toyota. not sure, Evora.

I would not say that they are too expensive, there are other cars, I would say are too expensive, such as the Honda S2000. Lotus is one of the best handling cars.

Yes, be transplanted, the engines from the Toyota MR2 () was not bad. Lotus is very expensive - a period of six years, the Corvette is less than U.S. $ 10,000 cost and the rings around each unit of Lotus on the road. Top rated? Ehhh .... particularly in view of the driver's seat, I suppose. They are small, thin, very relaxed and loose kidney stones each time you on a joyride. They are also fast, agile and hypnotic - probably closest to what a real race car, you never go on the road. Maintenance and reliability? Cash is best in the college fund for children.
